(or, Three Thousand Graphics Geeks Can’t Be Wrong)

Rather than go into a full recap of my activities at Photoshop World 2001, I’ll list some key points/observations.

• You can’t go wrong by having the Laker Girls perform at your conference.
• It’s hard to maintain a veneer of detached cool when you’re peeing in a trough.
• The Los Angeles subway system looks awfully run down in parts for a system so new. The subway in Washington D.C. is much nicer.
• I got a sunburn driving to L.A. Apparently that’s how pale I am.
