Part of the reason
Wednesday, October 31st, 2001…I ran out of time is that I was posting the office Halloween pics.
And for the record:
No, I did not take the pictures.
Yes, I’m aware most of them are blurry. Human GIGO.

(or, what’s Kevin done in the month-plus since his last blog?)
With apologies to the blogmistress (whom, I will note cattily, does not have a blog of her own), it has been a heckuva long time since my last entry. No huge reason; I just never really got around to it. Here’s what’s been happening, in the order that I think to type ‘em in:
Amber’s Fourth
Amber turned four a week ago. We had cake at the shop after we all gave her presents; I ended up getting her a replacement stick-horsey, a ViewMaster, and a cool electronic book-reader-thing called a LeapPad, the cost of which I split with Troll.
I’m so happy that I’ve had the privilege of watching Amber grow up:
That I have gotten to watch her grow has softened somewhat the pain of not having children of my own. I’ve always looked forward to being a parent, and thought, Once Upon a Time, that it would’ve happened by this stage in my life. If it never does happen, at least I’ve seen some of that with Amber.
Dad’s Visit
My Dad stopped by Monday night, on his way from New Mexico to Orange County to help my sister move to (drum roll please, Maestro)….
Albuquerque.
Riiiiight……
A Filming Fool
Was “out in the field” a lot during the month of October filming footage for a major report/presentation that BorderLink had to give to the feds. Man, did that feel good: being out and about doing, creating, instead of being chained to my demi-cubicle.
To be continued…
Well, I’ve run out of time… I’ll have to continue this tomorrow. ![]()
