Smallville renewed for another year

Smallville has been picked up for a third season, The WB announced on Tuesday.
The announcement came at the network’s development meeting with advertisers. The WB also renewed Smallville’s lead-in, Gilmore Girls, as well as 7th Heaven, Charmed, Reba and Everwood.
No word yet on Angel.
