Variety is reporting what it says is the behind-the-scenes truth behind The Amazing Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire’s back issues, which theatened to have him pulled out of the sequel film. Maguire and crew began shooting the Spider-Man sequel over the April 11 weekend.

X-Men 2 movie gets official title change

Comics Continuum is reporting that the X-Men movie sequel is now officially titled X2: X-Men United.

For some reason, the new subtitle reminds me of a British football (soccer) team name: “Today’s match, X-Men United versus Manchester United!”
