Hectic weekend
Had a half-day at the day job on Friday, so I headed over to the big screen to [finally!] catch Angelina Jolie in the second installment of Tomb Raider. I enjoyed it; it was good fun, Angelina was yummy, and the flick itself was better-constructed than the first (even though it did have a couple of WTF? plot holes).
And then it was on to the shop:
Had our third anniversary sale at the shop on Friday and Saturday. Busybusybusy! (And, yeah, technically it was our fourth anniversary; we were running out of a spare bedroom at the house for a year prior to that.)
Jay was a little worried about the turnout for the sale - usually a couple of huge sales days for us (people literally save up their pennies to hit the sale) - when we had a couple of really good days on Wednesday and Thursday.
It turned out to be worrying about nothing, ’cause sales were gangbusters! Booyah!
And then yesterday everyone was out of money, which meant the shop was a ghost town. Oh well.
