Meat, cheese, meat, cheese…
Y’know how you can go into an In-N-Out and order off the “secret” menu? Like getting a 4×4 (four patties, four slices of cheese) instead of the standard issue Double-Double (two of each).
Well, some folks went to Las Vegas and engaged in a perfectly logical Vegas-type activity: They ordered a 100×100.
That’s right. One hundred hamburger patties. One hundred slices of cheese.
And one bun.
Seriously.
And they documented the whole experience.
A day of contrasts
For a day that started out rather harried before segueing into terribly shitty, today sure ended on one hell of a great note.
Just for the record.
Poll poll pollo poll
I’ve added poll functionality to my blog. Would y’all mind testing out the nonsensical “What number am I thinking of?” poll I’ve got up there now?
Danke danke.
EDITED TO ADD: Okay. Not working. Crap. I’m seeing what answer I can get outta the plugin author.
EDITED TO ADD: The plugin’s author is (very kindly) helping me troubleshoot the problem. More news when I have it.
EDITED TO ADD: It seems to be working. May I get confirmation from anyone who hasn’t yet voted? Never mind. Still not working.
EDITED TO ADD: I think it’s working now. For real. Prove me right or wrong, please. [crosses fingers]
iTunes, here we come
New work podcast
My work blog, Transmissions from the Ether, has been reborn as a podcast ‘tween Doug, Valli, and me.
One episode down, many to go.
And yes, everybody who’s asked (including you, Evo), I plan to do some personal ones here, and yes, I’ve really, really slacked in not having done any in the last 13 months. What can I say? I had a bit of a mental hump to get over, and I finally found some nice inspiration that helped.
Are you ready for some hockey?
I went to my first hockey game (ever!) and saw our San Jose Sharks defeat the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning 3-1.
Sierra pics
My dad has posted a Flickr set of photos of Sierra.
