Black Friday, Nostradamus-style

BlackFriday.info logo“Black Friday,” the day after Thanksgiving, is generally considered the busiest shopping day of the year and the starting gun for the retail holiday season. It’s when many stores will open at an insane, o’dark-early hour and offer gifts and deep discounts on selected merchandise. Those deals are closely guarded secrets.

Or, rather, they were.

BlackFriday.info collects different retailers’ Black Friday ads into one spot. If you’re thinking of making a big-ticket purchase, it’s worth it to see if waiting two weeks could save you big bucks.

Edited to add: The site even lists the DVD loss leaders the stores are offering, like “The Office - Season 1″ for $8.99 (Circuit City, Friday 5-11AM only), “Arrested Development Season 3″ for $9.99 (Best Buy), or “Apollo 13″ for $3.99 (Sears).

:) Cool, thanks for the link, Kev. Another one that Richard and I check out is http://www.gottadeal.com

Will you be out there in the madness? I will. :) I love being out there in the chilly early hours, talking to people in line, rushing the store for bargains. LOL
